Grace Beese

Grace joined the firm in 2022, having previously worked for a local district council as a paralegal and assisting on matters relating to litigation and commercial property. Grace obtained First Class Honours in Law from the University of Plymouth in 2020, before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law in 2022. During her time at university, Grace was actively involved in the University of Plymouth Law Clinic, offering assistance and advice regarding Social Welfare Rights to clients in the Plymouth locality.

Grace is a Trainee Solicitor who enjoys her role within the Family department, assisting in all cases which include divorce and financial matters, child arrangements, injunction proceedings and cohabitation issues. She has a compassionate and pragmatic approach in assisting and advising clients throughout their case, including those which require litigation in the Family Court, having particular experience in assisting clients who are victims of domestic abuse or who are facing allegations of perpetrating domestic abuse.

Grace is a firm believer in learning something new every day, regardless of age or experience, and is particularly enthusiastic about developing her wider knowledge of litigation in general whilst training, when she will be moving around the firm to work in different departments, before qualifying as a solicitor.

Outside of work, Grace splits her time between cuddling her cats, watching horror movies and/or football with her partner, and competing (admittedly, with little success) in her family’s fantasy football league.
